(Santa Ana, CA)— On Friday, July 24, more than 1,000 older adults are expected to attend the 2015 South County Senior Summit, hosted by Orange County Supervisor Lisa Bartlett in partnership with Senator Pat Bates, Age Well Senior Services, Inc., and the Orange County Office on Aging.
The focus of this year’s Senior Summit is “The State of Aging in Orange County,” and will feature presentations from leading experts, including Michael Shrader, CEO of CalOptima; Jim McAleer, president and CEO of the Alzheimer’s Association OC; Dr. Claudia Kawas, professor of the Department of Neurology at UC Irvine; Dr. Kerry Burnight; professor of Geriatric Medicine at UC Irvine; Dr. Marilyn Ditty; CEO of Age Well Senior Services, Inc.; and Karen Roper, Director of OC Community Services.
