Orange County Republican Party Endorses Carrie O’Malley
OCGCOP Shows Support for O’Malley for Irvine City Council
IRVINE, Calif. – Today, the Republican Party of Orange County (OCGOP) endorsed Carrie O’Malley for Irvine City Council. The OCGOP endorsement follows that of California Women’s Leadership Association PAC, Irvine Mayor Donald P. Wagner, Assemblyman Steven Choi, the Orange County Taxpayers Association PAC, and more.
“Carrie O’Malley is a principled conservative leader and rising star in the party,” said Fred Whitaker, OCGOP Chairman. “Her values and unmatched expertise make her the obvious choice for Irvine City Council.”
“As a lifelong Republican, I am honored to receive the OCGOP’s endorsement,” said O’Malley. “Fiscal responsibility and common-sense conservative solutions have helped make Irvine the thriving city it is today, and I intend on continuing that trend.”
A twenty-year Irvine resident, and an active Irvine community member, Carrie O’Malley is an appointed Commissioner and Vice Chair on the Irvine Transportation Commission, Chair of the Irvine Taxpayers Association, and Vice President of the Board of Directors of her Homeowners’ Association in Northpark. O’Malley is also a twenty-year Member of the Junior League of Orange County and has been involved with countless successful efforts to help the Orange County community. She and her husband, John, have been married for nearly two decades and enjoy spending family time with their two teenage children, Shannon and Jack. In her free time, O’Malley enjoys attending her children’s baseball and basketball games, long-distance running on Irvine’s beautiful trails, and contributing her time and talents to helping the residents of Irvine.
