Christopher A. Brown, 43, of Orange, a photographer who also taught children’s tumbling classes, pleaded guilty Thursday to sexually assaulting two teenage girls in Irvine, Huntington Beach and Los Angeles, according to the O.C. Register.
Brown admitted to five counts of sexual penetration by a foreign object of an underage victim, five counts of oral copulation of an underage victim, as well as a count each of using an underage victim for obscene matter, possession or control of child pornography, and lewd acts on a child 14 to 15 years old.
Brown is only looking at spending 12 years and eight months in prison. He will be sentenced on Feb. 17. He would have been facing up to 16 years in prison if he had lost at trial.
Brown’s victims were 15 and 16 years old when he molested them, between June, 2014 and August, 2015. He lured them into his grasp with promises of modeling contracts, according to the OCDA.
Brown had studios or worked at sites in Irvine, Huntington Beach and Los Angeles.
Brown’s child porn pictures included the victims as well as photos of other children he obtained but did not directly make contact with.
OC Sheriff investigators found hundreds of child porn photos and videos when they executed a search warrant at a hotel in Irvine where Brown had been staying, last September.
Brown was previously convicted in Virginia, in 2005, for possession of child porn and failing to register as a sex offender in California when he moved here several years ago.
