Irvine, CA – The Irvine Police Department has arrested two people occupying a stolen vehicle. The suspects are identified as Shane Dubyak, 20, and Hayley Wolford, 21, both of Lakewood.
At approximately 3:15 a.m. today, May 11, 2016, an IPD officer conducted a routine traffic stop of a Honda Civic near the area of Redhill Avenue and MacArthur Boulevard. Dubyak was the driver and Wolford was the passenger.
Upon contacting the occupants and checking the license plate and vehicle identification number, the officer determined that the plates belonged to a different vehicle and the Honda was reported stolen out of Buena Park. In the ignition of the vehicle, officers located a shaved key. Wolford also had evidence of identity theft in her possession.
Dubyak and Wolford were arrested at the scene without incident.
