GOOD WINE FOR A GOOD CAUSE
Second annual wine tasting event to be held in Newport Beach
Newport Beach, CA – Local nonprofit organization America On Track is pleased to invite Orange County community members to Festa Italiana, their second annual Pouring From the Heart wine tasting event. This exciting evening for wine lovers will be held Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at the scenic Balboa Yacht Club in Corona Del Mar. Premier Italian wine importer Francoli USA, with noted wine experts Nicola Anguili and Jim Galvin, will provide expert commentary on each selection.
With its exclusive location and selection of Italy’s finest wines, this sensational evening will attract top tier Southern California executives and philanthropists with discriminating palates. “With a sunset view over the harbor, great company, and delicious wines, this will truly be a night to remember,” said Susan Burt, community leader and event co-chair. “We expect the event to double in size compared with last year, helping us meet our fundraising goals and bringing greater opportunities to children of Orange County.”
The event will begin at 6:00pm, with wine tastings and Italian cuisine followed by expert commentary about the fine wines from various regions of Italy. One-of-a-kind experiences will be available to purchase at the accompanying silent auction. The event will also feature a wine-pull raffle, with the opportunity to win luxury wines.
Tickets may be purchased for $200 at www.americaontrack.org/pouringfromtheheart or by calling 714-531-7144. Please RSVP soon, as the event is expected to sell out. Additionally, corporate or personal sponsorships are available at the $1,250, $2,500, and $5,000 levels, all of which come with complimentary tickets.
All of the funds raised will benefit America On Track’s Mentoring and Leadership Programs throughout Orange County. For 20 years, America On Track, a non-profit organization, has been providing services throughout Orange County and is currently serving over 10,000 individuals annually through innovative programs that transform the lives of disadvantaged youth, including children of prisoners. Donnie Crevier, a twenty-year Board member of America On Track, and owner of Crevier BMW for nearly 50 years and owner of Crevier Classic Cars in Costa Mesa, admires America On Track, saying “years ago, it was quite evident to me that America On Track was onto something – that children are our future, and more specifically, the future of our communities. Terry and Claire have dedicated countless hours during the past 20 years to give our youth hope and the tools they need to succeed even when the challenges seemed insurmountable. America On Track’s vision has become a hopeful and positive reality for thousands of children and I’m honored to be able to support their mission.”
All programs are evidence-based and 93¢ of every dollar is allocated directly to program services. America On Track’s motto is: Creating Brighter Futures for Communities & Youth since 1995.
