At the time of the crime, Deck was an employee at Red Digital Cinema. Over the past six months, the suspect stole over 70 high-end storage disks valued at over $300,000. Deck shipped the stolen disks to an unsuspecting buyer using company mail and received payment into his personal account.
Deck’s employer discovered the theft after conducting inventory and determining that dozens of discs were missing. The case was reported to IPD, who arrested the suspect without incident at his office today, December 2, 2015.
