IRVINE, CA (Nov. 10, 2015): The Irvine Fine Arts Center will feature three Southern California artists in Near, a contemporary exhibition that runs Nov. 21 through Jan. 23. A free opening reception will be held Nov. 21 from 4 to 6 p.m.
Near displays the work of Southern California artists Sophia Allison, Sarah Dougherty and Brittany Mojo. The exhibition offers a look at art practices driven by artists’ physical and emotional interactions with their immediate surroundings, from everyday objects to landscapes and domestic spaces. The exhibition includes ceramics, drawing, painting, mixed media and installation.
Gallery admission and parking are free. The Irvine Fine Arts Center is located inside Heritage Community Park, 14321 Yale Avenue, Irvine.
