“Legally Required Sexual Harassment Prevention Training”
IRVINE, Calif. (July 1, 2015) – Fisher & Phillips LLP, one of the largest national law firms in the field of labor and employment law, will present a seminar titled, “Legally Required Sexual Harassment Prevention Training,” from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at the Radisson Newport Beach, located at 4545 MacArthur Boulevard in Newport Beach. An additional “Train the Trainer” session will follow from 10:45 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for human resources professionals who are experienced in the area of sexual harassment training and investigation.
It is now California law that new supervisors or newly-promoted supervisors must receive at least two hours of required training within six months of hire or promotion. It is mandatory that any supervisor who hires, fires, disciplines or directs the work of one or more other employees receives this training every two years. The session is interactive and practical, teaching supervisors essential management skills while discussing the legally required harassment-related topics.
Labor and employment attorneys from the Irvine office of Fisher and Phillips who are experts in this area of the law and well-known for their practical and engaging training programs will conduct the seminar. Registration and complimentary continental breakfast begins at 8 a.m., and the cost to attend the event is $95 per person. If an organization sends multiples attendees, the cost is $85 per person. The cost for both the “Legally Required Sexual Harassment Prevention Training” and “Train the Trainer” sessions is $250 per person and includes all training materials and a PowerPoint CD containing the presentation that can be used and modified for your company’s training.
