Irvine, CA – The Irvine Police Department (IPD) is seeking the public’s help locating a 68-year-old man, who has not been seen since Wednesday morning.
Lee Howard Whittenberg, 68, Irvine, was last seen leaving his home on June 17, 2015, at approximately 8:45 a.m. He has no known money, credit cards, cell phone, or vehicle in his possession.
Whittenberg is described as male, Caucasian, 6’3”, 175 lbs., with gray hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, dark brown cargo shorts, brown slip-on tennis shoes, and a black baseball cap with a white logo. He has no known significant medical conditions and is mentally alert.
Whittenberg is known to walk the trails along Hicks Canyon Bike Trail, the Portola Side Path Trail, along Portola Parkway, and near Northwood High School.
