WHAT: The 2015 United States Police & Fire Benefit/Memorial Ride is a 77-Mile escorted motorcycle ride that kicks off from Orange County Harley-Davidson, 8677 Research Drive, Irvine and travels south to the Host Hotel, the Town & Country Resort, 500 Hotel Circle N Drive, in San Diego. 400 Motorcyclists will be escorted by Motorcade Protective Services and Led by “Fueled By The Fallen” Angel 9/11 Cruiser Camaro’s.
These vehicles honor the victims and first responders lost on 9/11. The 2015 United States Police & Fire Benefit/Memorial Ride not only serves as a kick-off for what is commonly referred to as the “Police & Fire Olympics” in San Diego, but it’s also a Memorial Ride to remember those men and women who have lost their lives in the line of duty, and remembering those brave individuals that served proudly through the years and are no longer with us.

Ride will depart at 9:30 am, and is expected to arrive in San Diego at 11:00 am

WHY: The United States Police & Fire Championships — an Olympic-style event for athletes from police, fire, prison and border protection agencies — are set for May 30 through June 6, 2015, throughout San Diego County. The competition includes participants from all 50 states and more than 415 law enforcement and fire agencies across the country. This ride is the “kick-off” event for the Championships. All proceeds from the Motorcycle ride benefit The Special Olympics.
