IRVINE, CA (May 2, 2014): The Irvine City Council will consider the next steps of the Adventure Playground Renovation project and whether or not the project should move to the construction phase at the Tuesday, May 13 City Council meeting, starting at 4 p.m.
The Council will review the proposed project design elements and their associated cost estimates along with recommendations from the Community Service Commission and the community survey results.
Adventure Playground is a 1.7 acre park located on a 4.5 acre site within University Community Park, 1 Beech Tree Lane, Irvine. The playground has been closed since 2008 and requires a complete reconstruction and renovation to comply with current playground safety standards, water quality requirements and accessibility regulations.
