FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Irvine, CA / March 27, 2014 ― OC Public Libraries is proud to announce the eighth annual Literary Orange, the premier literary event in Orange County. On Saturday, April 5, 2014 from 9 am to 4 pm readers and authors will gather at the Irvine Marriott to hear the captivating words of keynote speakers Marlo Thomas and Ann Hood, as well as a host of over 30 local authors.
Over the past seven years Literary Orange has established itself by delivering a content rich event with a variety of discussion panels and influential speakers such as best-selling authors Dean Koontz, Stephen J. Cannell, and J. A. Jance. Writers share their experiences, insights, and secrets in an engaging atmosphere. There’s something for everyone, whether a mystery fan or
an avid poetry reader.
This year promises to be the best ever. Along with the two best-selling authors in the keynote slots, Literary Orange is featuring fifteen author panels. There will be panel discussions on food, memoir, mystery, media, poetry, and travel. Young adult books, which are increasingly popular among adults, will have a panel. There will also be a wide variety of discussions on new
subgenres of fiction such as magical realism.
Admission is $60 per person, which includes a continental breakfast, lunch, dessert, two keynote presentations, three discussion panels, and opportunities to have your books autographed. For more information and to register to attend, please visit www.literaryorange.org. Online registration closes March 21, 2014.
