Recommendations for This Week
While not as report, action, and event-heavy as last week, this week promises to be very lively and possibly volatile. A few very significant reports and actions are taking place this week as Janet Yellen formally takes command of the Federal Reserve, having been sworn in today. Watch for market activity this week surrounding the Factory Orders Report coming out Tuesday morning at 7 am Pacific, the 10 and 30 year note announcements on Wednesday at 6 am Pacific, the Jobless Claims Report (even though it is often revised later) this Thursday at 5:30 am Pacific along with the Gallup US Payroll to Population report at the same time. Friday has the most significant report of the week at 5:30, the often revised, often volatile and with potential to impact markets drastically, Employment Situation Report.
