City of Irvine
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, PRESS RELEASE #13-10-28
IRVINE, CA (October 28, 2013): For more than 19 years, the Irvine Civic Center has been closed on alternate Fridays and beginning the week of November 11, 2013, the Irvine Civic Center will open five days a week, every week.
This new schedule will ensure that the City Council’s priority interest in having the Civic Center open for business every day of the week — Monday through Friday — is met. The Civic Center will be open Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. and Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
“I want to thank our staff for their part in making this transition a success and their ongoing commitment to providing excellent customer service to the Irvine community,” says City Manager Sean Joyce.
