IRVINE, CA (October 9, 2013): The Irvine Meals on Wheels program will host a holiday fundraising campaign through the end of 2013 to help provide hot, nutritious meals to Irvine’s homebound seniors and disabled individuals. More than 80 percent of Irvine Meals on Wheels clients live at or below the poverty level, and rely on the home-delivered meal program to meet their basic food needs. Donations will support nutrition and in-home care services for these homebound Irvine seniors and disabled persons.
Donations are tax deductible, and directly benefit program costs. One-time, corporate matching and ongoing giving opportunities are available.
