The Irvine Public Schools Foundation has announced a recycling program, GameChanger, for electronic devices such as cell phones, tablets and laptops that will turn donated devices into cash to help Irvine schools. To donate, visit ipsf.net or bring your devices to the IPSF booth at the U.S. Department of Energy Solar Decathlon 2013 and XPO, to be held October 3-6 and 10-13 at the Orange County Great Park. IPSF works continuously with the unique Challenge Match Grant program that is part of the voter-approved Measure BB. A total allocation of $1.5 million is matched by the City of Irvine for every dollar raised for schools. The recycling program is one important way to contribute.
