As part of National Preparedness Month in September, the Irvine Police Department’s Emergency Management Office would like to remind residents about the importance of being prepared. Taking simple steps can go a long way in keeping you and your family safe.
Remember to assemble a supply kit; develop a plan of action; register your home, cell and other phone numbers with the City’s iAlert system to receive information about emergencies; follow the Irvine Police Department on Facebook and Twitter for information during emergencies; or take a Community Emergency Response Team course offered by the City of Irvine.
