The League of California Cities has enlisted communities throughout the state to post their priority programs and descriptions on a special page. The City of Irvine has done so.
Priority programs of the City include public safety, environmental sustainability and green building, open space preservation, energy conservation and recycling, voter registration and participation, educational partnerships, infrastructure rehabilitation, affordable housing, a healthy community, geographic policing, and youth, family and senior services. These shared community values have been critical to Irvine’s success over time and its natural evolution as a multi-layered, culturally integrated city.
