As Irvine’s representative on the Orange County Fire Authority Board of Directors, I have been working diligently to address the inequitable situation that exists with regard to how much Irvine pays for its fire protection services. As a result our negotiations, the Fire Authority has offered a deal that could save the City of Irvine as much as $123 million.
