Two people were hospitalized and a man was arrested following a hit-and-run-crash in Irvine Friday night, authorities said. The crash happened around 10 p.m. at West Yale Loop and Stone Creek North, according to ABC News.
Police received reports of an altercation in the Woodbridge community on West Yale Loop near Stone Creek North around 10:20 p.m., officials said. Officials said Jerome Bowan, 21, of Fontana, was involved in an altercation before getting into a car. Witnesses told police that Bowan drove the car into a group of people near the intersection, injuring several. Three people were taken to the hospital. The most serious injury was a compound fracture and none of the injuries appeared to be life-threatening, said police Cmdr. Matt Mahoney, according to the O.C. Register.
The accident happened just outside of a house party, according to CBS News.
