Memorial Day is a time of remembrance; a time for Americans to honor those who have given their lives while defending our nation. On Monday, May 27, I have the honor and privilege of leading the City of Irvine’s tribute to fallen military service members during a Memorial Day ceremony at 10 a.m. at Colonel Bill Barber Marine Corps Memorial Park.
Attendees will have the opportunity to memorialize our troops’ sacrifice by writing down a brief remembrance to be posted on a memory board. Cards will also be available for well-wishers to send a message of appreciation and support to Irvine’s
