Attempted Child Abduction
NORTH TUSTIN, Calif. – (May 6, 2015) – On Tuesday, May 05, 2015, Orange County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of an attempt child abduction of an 11 year-old female in the area of Salt Air Drive and Simon Ranch Road, near Utt Middle School.
On Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at approximately 4:30 p.m., the 11 year-old female victim was alone walking her dog near Salt Air Drive and Simon Ranch Road. A white van with a male, Hispanic driver pulled alongside the female victim and attempted to lure her into the vehicle. The driver initially asked the victim if she needed help with her dog; after she refused, the suspect demanded she get into the vehicle by stating, “Hey, get in the car.” The female victim refused and ran home from the area. The vehicle was last seen southbound on Browning Avenue from Salt Air Drive towards Irvine Boulevard. Continue reading
