IPSF SURPRISES FIVE IRVINE TEACHERS WITH OVER $100,000 IN INNOVATIVE GRANTS
Irvine, Calif. March 21, 2017- In celebration of Irvine Public Schools Foundation’s (IPSF) 20 years of impact, the foundation surprised teachers and students at five Irvine schools with $20,000 innovative grants totaling $100,000. Each year, IPSF offers teachers and staff in the Irvine Unified School District (IUSD) the opportunity to apply for funds through the Innovative Grants Program including the Innovative Teaching Award Program (ITAP), Innovative Counseling Award Program (ICAP), and the Mega Innovative Award Program (M-ITAP). The purpose of this grant program is to support innovation in schools by awarding funds to enhance curriculum and improve the educational experiences of students. Continue reading
