STUDENTS INVITED TO BUILD, DANCE, DESIGN AND DISCOVER INTERESTS DURING IRVINE PUBLIC SCHOOLS FOUNDATION’S ENRICHMENT DAY
Taking Place on Presidents’ Day, a District-Wide Holiday, IPSF Enrichment Day to Provide Full Day of Engaging and Fun Subjects Not Offered in Regular Classrooms
The Irvine Public Schools Foundation (IPSF) is offering a full day of over classes for Irvine Unified School District (IUSD) students in grades two through eight during their annual Enrichment Day. This event takes place on Presidents’ Day, a district-wide holiday, and will provide students with a day of engaging and fun subjects that may not be offered in their regular classrooms.
Enrichment Day is also a fundraising activity for teacher grants and all proceeds will go to support the Innovative Teaching Award (ITAP) program. The ITAP program awards grants to select IUSD teachers for innovative teaching approaches and materials, which bring deeper meaning to curriculum and improve the educational experiences of students. Classes offered during Enrichment Day, include LEGO Engineering Jedi Academy, Breakdance, 3D Design & Beginning Animation, Cooking, Video Game Design, Filmmaking, Hand Sewing, Caricature Drawing and more.
