Irvine Ranch Conservancy Receives AmeriCorps NCCC members for the First Time
Irvine, Calif. – It may have been April Fool’s Day, but the arrival of an AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps (NCCC) team is no joke. Starting April 1st, 2015 a seven person AmeriCorps NCCC team, known as Green Three, arrived in Irvine to work with the Irvine Ranch Conservancy.
The Irvine Ranch Conservancy is a nonprofit organization that protects approximately 40,000 acres of land with a rare Mediterranean climate that is slowly disappearing. This land is home to a biologically diverse array of native plants and animals. Continue reading
