FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, PRESS RELEASE #9/9/2013
Subject: Fatal Traffic Accident Investigation
IRVINE, CA (September 9, 2013): The Irvine police department is investigating a single-car fatal traffic collision which claimed the life of an adult male late last night. The driver was the sole occupant of the vehicle and has not yet been identified.
Police officers and the Orange County Fire Authority paramedics were dispatched to the collision just after 11:00 p.m. Sunday night. Emergency personnel arrived to find the vehicle in the center median of the I-5 freeway engulfed in flames.
Preliminary investigation indicates the vehicle, a Toyota Matrix, was traveling southbound on the I-5 Freeway in the carpool lane exit at Barranca Parkway. The vehicle exited the freeway, crossed the roadway and collided with the curb and retaining wall on the opposite side of the overpass. The vehicle broke through the wall and fell from the overpass where it came to rest in the center median of the I5 freeway.
The Irvine Police Department closed Barranca Parkway between Irvine Center Drive and Technology Drive for several hours for the investigation. The California Highway Patrol assisted with lane closures on the southbound side of the freeway. All lanes were opened just after 4:00 a.m. this morning.
The cause of this collision has yet to be determined. Traffic investigators are asking for any persons who may have witnessed the collision to contact Sergeant Matt August at (949) 724-7023.

Still the cause is unknown. The driver would explain the rest i suppose.
I am not sure if this is the right place to put this because I could be completely wrong and I do not want to hurt anyone any further. But I cannot not say something. I was exploring near a bushy area by the park at Camino Jalisco and Santa Victoria. In the bush facing the hills towards the left of the park there was a tree with ” Ryan killed himself here RIP 1984-2013″ carved in to it. I have been unbelievably haunted by this and have been trying to research recent deaths in the area. Like I said, this may not have anything to do with this accident but I wanted to put it out there if anyone was looking for answers they could look there.
