OUTSTANDING HONOREES ANNOUNCED FOR 29TH ANNUAL NATIONAL PHILANTHROPY DAY ORANGE COUNTY
Esteemed Individuals and Organizations Recognized for Philanthropic Efforts in the OC Community
IRVINE, Calif. – National Philanthropy Day Orange County proudly announced the 2014 Outstanding Honorees. The honorees include organizations and community members selected because of the deep impact of their volunteer efforts, charity donations and commitment to the betterment of Orange County. They will be honored at the 29th Annual Awards Luncheon Thursday, November 20th at the Hotel Irvine Jamboree Center.
This annual event is produced annually by the Orange County Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and is one of the most prominent philanthropic recognition events in Orange County. Since its inception nearly 30 years ago, more than 1,000 honorees have been recognized. Founded by Doug Freeman and through his hard work, President Ronald Reagan proclaimed Nov. 15 as National Philanthropy Day in 1986. Continue reading
