This is a bit last minute, but the vocal talents of South Lake Middle School’s choral students will be featured Wednesday evening during the second and final performance of their spring musical.
Following 10 weeks of rehearsals, South Lake brought “Aladdin Jr.” to the stage on Tuesday and will do so again at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 11 in the multipurpose room.
“Aladdin Jr” is the middle school version of the popular Disney film that follows the adventures of Princess Jasmine, Aladdin and a certain wisecracking Genie. The South Lake show is being directed by Ingrid Green in collaboration with the school’s choral program, which is led by music teacher Jason Grenier.
There’s no cost to attend, though donations for the program are requested. For more information, contact parent volunteer at firstname.lastname@example.org or 949-289-4843.
